Two Vigils
Friday 6 August, 7 am – 9 am: Remember Hiroshima, Celebrate A Nuclear-Free Pacific.
This year will be the 65th anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. It is also the 25th anniversary of the South Pacific Nuclear Weapons Free Zone treaty, which the US has just said they will join! There will be a Vigil in front of St Paul’s Cathedral (corner of Swanston and Flinders streets).
