Joining the army is not like any other job — you may have to kill people.
'IT TAKES more than a BA to become a GM, MD or CEO," declares the glossy brochure for Australia's Finest Leadership and Management College whose students are sent to the financial and economic powerhouses of Asia, including Singapore and Thailand, where they will abseil, white-water raft and trek their way to the top of Australia's corporate elite.
It's the sort of hype regularly served up to prospective students by business courses offered by TAFEs and universities. It would be unremarkable if it wasn't for the fact that Australia's Finest Leadership and Management College also happens to be the Royal Military College, Duntroon.
